Abigail Mighell

ASSOCIATE

Abigail Mighell specializes in land conservation, environmental equity, and climate policy at EEC. Specifically, she helps clients clearly define their funding and policy goals and supports them in realizing these goals through strategic planning, coalition and relationship building, and legislative advocacy.

 

Prior to working at EEC, Abigail specialized in policy research covering a range of resource equity issues. In 2020, she authored a comprehensive assessment of drinking water quality across California, identifying vulnerable populations and proposing policy changes to address gaps in access. Abigail also worked as an independent contractor with Tuolumne County where she designed, conducted, and analyzed surveys gauging broadband connectivity across the county. Before this, she gained policy and advocacy experience through internships with the Local Government Commission and the Office of Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry.

 

Abigail graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of California, Davis.
