Mandi Strella has been a member of the Capitol community for nearly two decades. She began her career as an intern in the Sacramento Semester program. She went on to staff three members of the California State Assembly. While a jack of all trades, she gained extensive experience in the energy, natural resources and environmental justice spaces.

Prior to joining EEC, she also served in the legislative units of The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, and most recently Caltrans, where she communicated with external stakeholders and internal subject matter experts to draft legislative bill analyses and respond to inquiries from legislative offices and local governments.

Mandi holds a B.A. in Government from California State University, Sacramento. A Sacramento native, she currently lives with her husband and son in Elk Grove.
