Erika Romero specializes in conservation, clean energy, and transportation policy and provides policy, funding, and administrative support for clients at EEC. Erika assists clients by identifying policy priorities, engaging stakeholders, and providing strategic engagement with the state legislature and state agencies to realize client policy and funding goals.

Prior to joining EEC, Erika worked for Congressman Ro Khanna, focusing on domestic justice and international budget policy. In addition to her policy role, Erika also collaborated on press releases, press conferences, and media engagement as part of a communications team serving the Congressman.

Erika graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights from San José State University. She is also currently pursuing a Masters in Public Policy and Administration degree at the California State University, Sacramento.
