Amara Eger

LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT

Amara focuses on waste, clean energy, climate, and toxics policy and provides administrative support for clients at EEC.

 

Prior to working at EEC, Amara worked in the Chief Clerk’s Office as a legislative intern where she helped amend bills, track legislation, and assist staff at the Assembly Desk. Before starting at the Capitol, Amara worked on Congressional and local campaigns focused in Northern California. She also spent part of her college career working for the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden, working in the teaching nursery and doing community outreach.

 

Amara graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
